Under 10s & Under 12s:
Essendon CC will be fielding two junior teams this year. Players must be under 10 or under 12 at 1st September 2011 to play for the U10 or U12 teams respectively.
Registration day for this year’s MiloIn2cricket program is set for Sunday, the 18th September from 10am-12pm at Windy Hill Oval in Essendon.
The U10s will be training once a week (most likely Tuesdays. To be confirmed.) from 4.30 to 5.30 pm. They will play on Friday evenings, from approximately 4.45pm. The matches are 24 overs per team. ECC senior players Tom Godsell and Liam Tobin will be coaching the U10s but we are looking for additional coaches and/or team managers to help out.
The U12s will train once a week (most likely Tuesdays at 4.30 to 5.30 pm. To be confirmed). They will play on Saturday mornings (occasional match may be Friday evening or Sunday morning.)
Home games will be at Fairbairn Park for both teams. Membership costs are $160 per player, or $270 per family, if more than one player per family in the U10 & U12 competitions. This membership will include cap & playing shirt. We are seeking a coach and a team manager for the Under 12 team.
